Background

I’m an integrative therapist registered with the BACP, which means I draw on different approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. I follow a person centred approach, putting you at the heart of therapy. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and therapy is a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, without pressure or judgement. We focus on what matters most to you in the moment.

I work in a creative and trauma informed way, being mindful of how past experiences can affect how we feel today. Sometimes we may use gentle creative tools such as drawing, writing or visual exercises if talking alone feels difficult. Above all, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard and understood, so you can talk openly and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.

I have over 3,000 counselling hours and more than 10 years’ experience working in schools, youth services, social care and counselling organisations including The Lowdown, Mable Therapy and 42nd Street, as well as in private practice. I’ve supported people from many different backgrounds, including children, young people, students, creatives and professionals who may be feeling overwhelmed or looking for more balance and clarity in their lives.

Values

Therapy should feel safe, supportive, and human. A place where you don’t have to pretend or filter what you say. I’ll meet you where you are, listen without judgement, and move at your pace, helping you make sense of your experiences and build emotional resilience.
